Storage Mart
Location page site redesign
For this website redesign project, I focused on the Brighton-Bevendean location page.
Since this is a redesign project, I wanted to focus on the functionality and empathy for the user. I wanted the usability of the page to be intuitive, understand what the customer's journey is upon arriving on the page, and for the design to be clean and straightforward.

Some things I've noticed as a first time user on the Bevendean page:
- The order of the content is confusing. Upon arrival, the landing section is clear, but then it jumps down to the Gate/Office hours without the user getting a chance to see what necessarily the storage is.
- The storage size chart presentation isn't very clear since it starts off collapsed and the arrow almost seems to indicate the Storage Availability rather than coerce the user to click arrow to open
- Since the page is very content heavy, the blurred background of the hours and three dimensional feel of the Storage Availability buttons feel busy
To address these minor issues, I created a new layout that will reorder the way the content is presented and focused as well as clarifying the usability aspect.
